A space for Ingenios
Ingenios Culturales is an NGO devoted to reduce violence in the public space of marginal zones trough cultural activities. The main idea is to reduce and prevent crime by implementing a set of values, and at the same time recover the public space.
In this case, we developed two spaces in the municipality of Temixco, these are a small library that opens itself into the streets, and public park covered by a bamboo structure. These were developed with the support of the Mexican Institute for Integral Development of the Family (DIF), and it has had several appropriation processes with the community.
